The Chamber Choir also sponsored the first joint concert of the Spring Lake and Grand Haven choral groups and hosted the Michigan School Vocal Association's District Choral Festi- val. To pay for music in the ex- panded program, choir members participated in several fund raising projects, one of which was selling stationery made from re-cycled trash. The preparation and presentation of programs for the school and com- munity was a major part of choir's activities. Members also increased their knowledge of music funda- mentals, vocal development and music styles through special vocal technic sessions.
