Our activities included the operation of the concession stand, the sponsoring of several dances, and participation in the school carnival. We also sent tour members to Lansing for the Hi-YW Tri-Hi-Y Legislature. Our membership was increased to 48 due to the two initiations which were held during the year. The first initiation was held iointly with the Tri-Hi-Y. The ofticers tor the year were Gary VerPIank, president, John Martin, vice-president, Curtis Fore- man, secretary, Dick Minuth, treasurer, and Chuck Braak, chaplain. We were given much assistance by our advisor, Mr. Anderson. joint Hi-Y, Tri-Hi-Y meeting 'if' First Row: Dove Wyma, Tom Story, Tom Rudder, Rusty Schaubel, Jock Fuse, Dove Robertson, Jim Eggert, Doug Toxopeus. 'All right, girlr, lefr take a foie TRI-HI -Y The members of Tri-Hi-Y have packed many activities into a year filled with fun and excitement. We began the year looking for a new advisor and were lucky to find Miss McAnelly, who has been wonderful. Some of our proiects were selling football pro- grams, sending Thanksgiving baskets, sponsoring a Polio Benefit Dance and a Roarin' Twenties Dance, and taking care of Kim, our Korean orphan. We also had a baked goods sale, cake-walk, car wash and style show in order to earn enough money to send our chaplain, Lynne Mitchell, to Europe and give a scholarship to one of our senior members. All in all, we had a very successful year.
