Senior Honor Poge Senior Closs Officers Prerident l Secrelary Peter Manting Dorothy Kozicki Vice-Pre.ricle1zt X Treumrer Jay Casemier Class ln 1948 we entered the doors of Grand Haven High School as freshmen. For the first few weeks we wandered around in a state of confusion customary to all ninth graders. As the year got under way, and we became more accustomed to high school life, we selected Dick Poel as our president, Chuck Arnold, vice-president, Nancy Mistretta, secretary, and Ernamae Wills, treasurer. In our sophomore year we felt much older and wiser. We chose Quay Pope as president, Don Shears, vice-presidentg Bob Clink, secretaryg and Bill Brems, treasurer. We struggled through Silas Mamet and put on the annual Christmas Dance. Soon our sophomore year was over and we joined of Matt Pellegrom 1952 the selection of our class rings, the junior play, A Little Honey, and our jr.-Sr. prom, Sweethearts on Parade. That year we chose as our class officers, Don Shears, president, joan Mierle, vice-president, john Koppel, secretary, and Harriet Ellingson, treasurer. Yes, we really felt busy and important in our junior year. Then all too soon we were seniors. This year Pete Manting, jay Casemier, Dorothy Kozicki, and Matt Pellegrom were chosen as our Senior Class officers. We began work on our yearbook and our senior play, Clementine, and slowly but surely we moved toward graduation day. Now with mixed joy and sorrow we are ending our high school days - The Best Years of Our Lives. the ranks of upper rlarrmevlr.
