Dedication . . ALBERT WEAVERS The Senior Class of 1947 dedicates this book to Albert XVeavers, a former janitor at Grand Haven High School. We shall always remember him for his willingness to help us, his obliging manner in granting us favors, and his loyalty to our school. Mr. Weavers resigned from his duties as a janitor after having served the school in that capacity for twenty-eight years. He endeared himself to the students and those he came in contact with by being so friendly and cheerful. He usually had an amusing little story to tell his friends and acquaintances that could brighten up any dull moment. He helped us with our Saturday Nite Club and innumerable other projects. Bert, as all of us fondly address him, was a true friend of the students. We can think of no one to whom we would rather dedicate our 1947 Blue and Gold. Our hats are off to you, Bert. 8
