Cfass P1'O,UlZQC27 One sunny afternoon as 1 was leafing casually through the HwHO'S WHO IN AMERICA,H Cedition of l96ND my glance suddenly hit the name of GREEN, FREDERIC. VCould it be?H I wondered, Reading on I found ---- Hbrilliant, young scientist now exploring into the fabulous worlds of inter-planetary space.,made first workable space ship to travel to planet. Well, my old classmate had certainly made quite a name for himself. Fred was still a bachelor, I concluded, probably wooing one of his spaceships. Playing a hunch,I decided to look for my other classmates in the HWHO'S WHOV book. Looking under JOY WIEDEMANN, I found this excerpt-- HGraduated Harvard Law School 1958. Brilliant woman lawyer who broke the biggest case of Communist spy rings in the history of our coun- try. Wowlffl To think I sat next to her in History class. A footnote stated that Joy was now Mrs. Richard Brownell and had two children. ERNEST J. SACCARO had an interesting biography. Beginning as a chicken farmer, Ernie now owned and operated the SACCARO FRESH FROZEN CHICKEN ENTERPRISES ---- raising and packing the finest eating chickens the world has ever known. He married a girl with the most b teeth in the solar system.I remembered the teeth, but her name my mind. After hunting among many MOORES, I finally found SHIRLEY almanac informed me that she had made many improvements in care and had started her own practice in the field before she eautiful slipped E. The infants married a young engineer, Stephen Enderlin. Shirley was now retired from public duty and was practicing her theories on her own quadruplets, born two years ago, It wasn't hard to find the name of JOHN RAPPLEYEA. Our old slug- ger had gone to top the Yankees' batting averages for four straight years and his name was on the tongue of every kid in the U. S. A.Cand Canada!! Johnny had married a beautiful New York model and by reports of the gossip columns, they were very happy. The UWHO'S WHON story on ALICE J. TEPFER, rather Mrs.A.Woolworth V, was a fabulous one. Allie, disgusted with Chub Etts, met the Wool- worth millionaire while in college and married him a year after grad- uation. She was a leader of New York society and appeared on the best-dressed list annually. They had already nick-named her, HThe Hostess with the Mostess on the Ballln HERBERT VAN AKEN and motion picture photography are practically synonomous, so the book informed me. Good old Herb had developed a very practical and inexpensive H-D process for Hollywood productions. The boy's worth a million, but he's still single. As for VIRGINIA A. THORINGTON--Ginny had,I read, finally decided to go into the field of beauty culture. Virginia's Beauty Sa1on,along with the beauty preparations she has developed, are used by all of the country's smartest, richest and most beautiful women.Gin's not married yet, apparently she's working on a formula to make a man who's beau- tiful enough for her. One of the country's leading dairymen is ROBERT MELLOTT, accord- ing to what I read under his name. His cattle-the finest and his farm- the showplace of the dairy industry. Bob married Mary Meeghan three years after graduation and they now have four children. Glancing at the clock I gasped. I was due on duty in Ward 7 in five minutes. Like my famous and successful classmates I'm very happy with my nursing job, but I'm afraid they'll never find me in NWHO'S WHO.u ,N, W K ' O1'1d 0 X fl 1' - .N-'T M ,
