Grand Gorge, New York February 29, 1948 To the Senior Class of 1949: Each successive year the president of the Senior Class takes pen and paper in hand and begins to develop a delightful hatred for the person who nominated him. If he is unfortunate enough to have neglected to inscribed the name of his supporter upon his memory in indelible letters, this rapidly growing emotion turns itself upon the nearest available target. The reason is simple-it is time to write the advise to the Juniors. Next it would be simple enough to list the conventional virtues and suggest that each Junior become a shining example of studious habits and unquestional obedience However with the activities of the councilor'so freshin the minds of the counciled this could be easily overdone Nevertheless, with lagging enthusiam and excessive forebodings I will attempt te stay your wayward feet Next year will be your last in high school THINK IT OVER' One year remains to you before you must of necessity break many of your school friendships The friends with whom you have spent the better part of the last twelve years will become scattered and separated No more will the school teams or the school activities, be your teams or your activ ties To clarify all this workiness, have fun next year, take part in all possible activities, make enough money for a good Senior trip, and be ready for the Regents you will take in June '49n Very truly yours, Jack Ouderkirk, President Senior Class Slave Driver Teachers pet Teachers pest Girl most likely to succeed Boy most likely to success Most popular girl lost popular boy Perfect lady Perfect gentleman Prettiest girl Most Best Best Best Best Best handsome boy danceribovb atheletefboyj atheletefgirll dressed natured Laziest Quietest Noisiest Girl showing best school spirit Boy showing best school splrit First married girl I Bo ONS!! and PUSSY Clifford Josephine Jack Laura Andy Josephine Jack Pessy Andy Jerald Andy Laura Jerald Clifford Clifford Deloris Clifford Phyllis Jack Josephine Nicholas 1 . le eeaoeee 00000 0000 20 00000000000l000000 0000 30 000000000000000000 0000 40 0000 0000 50 0000 0000 60 00000000000 0000 7e eseeeeeaee 0000 80 0000000 0000 ge 000 0000 1.00 000000 0000 110 000 0000 12.
