Seniors were auctioned off at a min- imum of $2.00 per head. One slave went for $9.00. The master could then make his slave do anything 'within reason. Looking at the slaves made one wonder what was within reason. Slaves push- ing their masters in wagons, boys that looked like girls, curlers, purses, makeup, and the like. One thing was certain, the underclassmen got even with the seniors. Seniors will revenge! ii
