As the Class of 67 journeys through life, we trust that they will turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones, for in the world of work, only those who live with out purposeful employment are demoralized. May each be certain that he finds aplace in our American Society. Hold high your goals and ideals. If you present high ideals strongly enough, others may rise to your level. We believe that the faculty and staff have tried to be a model for you. We recognize that you need models more than critics. Class of 67, We send our best wishes with you: may your successes be high as you take your place in American Democracy.

Miss LILLIAN T MCCORMICK MR. JAMES ATHAY GUIDANCE COUNCELORS The definition of a counce1or's job would enable us to see that every student finds a comfortable and useful place in society. If the definition furnished a magic wand, we could do this. Each human being must find his own way, and so perhaps all we can hope for is the chance to help some of you. However, if we had a magic wand, we would give you three things: 1. A place in the World of Work that would enable you to say in all honesty, It's a privilege to work. 2, The ability to love and to be loved, which would include a good marriage. 3. The ability to care about others, To Be Your Brother's Keeper. Then it would follow as night follows day that you could take your place in the world and accept the bitter with the sweet.
