V Considered our best defensive end who downed the interference and made the tackle. RAY MUDD - Senior Fullback. A fireball carrier, who could always get the yard when we needed it. GORDON SKAAR - Junior Tackle. A tremendous lineman who is con- sidered one of the greatest in Tiger history. GORDON SKAAR DICK w1LLtAMs LEROY SANDERSON DENNIS BEST EARL ARCHER EARL ARCHER - Junior Tackle. A mainstay in the Tiger line. One of our best blockers and tacklers. DENNIS BEST - Sophomore Halfback. Mutt is a fine tackler and ball carrier who blocked a number of punts.

JACK BENTON - Senior Guard. A good blocker who opened many of those big holes in our opponent's line. GARY LARSON - Senior Quarterback. A great field general. Considered the best passer in the North Central District. DENNIS PIERCE RONNY OVERBEY MICKEY PALANUK - Sophomore Center. Did a terrific job his first year as a regular and has two big years coming up. RONNY KERBY - Senior End. His speed, sticky fingers, and leadership qualities will be missed next year. JACK BENTON GARY LARSON DENNIS PIERCE - Junior Fullback. A hard driving fullback and a sure tackler on defensive. Dennis should have a big year in 1956. RONNY OVERBEY - Senior Guard.
