The principal ad- dress of the evening entitled Living Without Limits was delivered by Dr. David Molyneaux of the First Presby- terian Church of Flint. Class President, Charles Stone, gave the welcome followed by the Salutatory, Graduation Then and Noww. Lee Traynor, Valedictorian, spoke on the subject, We Can Because We Think We Can . Upon presentation of the Class by Miss Hazel Dowd, Principal, Mr. Paul McGrath, President of the Board of Education, presented diplomas. American Legion Awards were received by Shirley Marien and Kenneth Nylander. Music was provided by the High School Band and the A Capella Choir. Lee Traynor gives the valcdictory I5

To show their appreciation for an undefeated season, the community of Grand Blanc on December 5, 1956, sponsored a chicken dinner at Frankenmuth for the Varsity Football Team. Under the direction of Llewellyn James, the boys and their guests were provided with splendid food and entertainment. The team members received gold footballs from the community, letters of congratulations from the Board of Education, and award letters with 'iCounty Champs written on them. The coaches and their wives also re- ceived gifts. The guest speaker for the evening was Gayle Robinson, a trainer at Michigan State University. To conclude the evening, movies were shown of the Michigan State-Indiana game. Dan Branda proudly receives the Flint Journal Trophy from Ed Ackley on behalf of the team. Championship Team Honored with Football Banquet Mr. Thomas, head coach, calls the boys up to receive their letters while Gayle Robinson, guest speaker, observes. Backfield coach Jack Pratt receives a gift from Mr. Carey. Seated at the table are Mr. Joe Pitock, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kerensky. Q Mr. Gayle Robinson, Michigan State College trainer, tells of his past experiences while Mr. James listens.
