This body is chosen by the City Council. The school system is currently superintended by Mr. Edwin L. Lambert. The duty of the Board is to coordinate the ac- tivities 0f the cityis schools and to establish regulations and policies throughout the system. Mr. John W. Brown and Miss Ellen Blake serve Granby High School in the capacity of assistant principals. ADMINISTRATION As principal of Granby High School, Mr. Donald C. Griffin has the respon- sibility of supervising the administra- tion of our school. It is his job to co- ordinate the workings of the faculty and perform various other executive duties. Six years principal of Granby, Mr. Griffin has also served as a coach, teacher, and assistant principal. He re- ceived his BA. and M.Ed. Degrees at William and Mary College.

Grammar and composition are presented as an essen- tial part of the pupiYs knowledge of his language.
