CLASSES Among the many aspects of student life, classroom instruction is the most significant. It is here that the student is presented with information in various realms of essential knowledge. Of greater importance than the initial knowledge gained in the cIaSSroom, is the opportunity given the student to use his own abilities to their fullest and to better learn the importance of getting along well With others. Felix Driskell works to complete a project in woodshop. Jerry James, Perry Leong, Clarke Thrasher, Debbie Hayman and Linda Holmgren display their efforts achieved in art class.

SPORTS Granby,s sports play a major role in student life. Through the participation evidenced in the various fields of athletics offered, and also through the vast amount of enthusiasm and school spirit demonstrated by the faculty and student body, it is easily noted that Granby takes an avid interest in competitive ac- tivities. Several sports such as wrestling, swimming, and has- ketball have continued to meet the caliber of sports- manship and merit which has been displayed in the past. With the excellent coaching staffs available at Gran- by, there is no doubt that great athletes and star players will continue to be recognized in Granbyts future.
