Their terms over- lap as does the United States Senateg therfore, the entire board never changes at one time. For several years Mr. Donald Griffin, our assis- tant principal, has aided in the administration of Granby. Before he was appointed to his present post, Mr. Griffin taught social studies and history. He is a former basketball coach. He has als His interest in I1ll1'l'lel'Ol1S O he performs each day are greatly appreciated by both the faculty and the student body. Donald Griffin GRAN BY ADMINISTRATION ,auf L, 5ZL 7' Virginia Pedin Miss Virginia Pedin, the Head Clerk in the Granby High School Office, came to this school from Maury High School in Septem- ber, 1943. Her duties are many and varied: from calling and assigning substitute teachers when the regular teacher is absent, to making up all official reports for the School Admin- istration, the State Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Q- , Muriel G. Brown Who is the attractive woman in room 107 with the school files? It is Mrs. Muriel G. Brown, the wife of Coach Brown. Since 1950, Mrs. Brown has taken care of all records, grades, teacher's supplies, lost and found, graduation diplomas, and the secretarial work for Miss Blake.
