STUDENT ASSISTANT S Though the administration and staff at Granby work to keep the school running at all times, their work would be much harder than it is if it were not for the volunteer work done by the Student Assistants. From the moment we enter school the Book- room Assistants are at work selling us books so that we may begin our studies. The Clinic Assistants are always on duty so that at any time during the school day when a person feels sick, he or she may go to the Clinic for assistance. Whenever there is a book needed for a re- port or some information needed for a re- search paper the Library Assistants are there to help. These people help keep the library in order and also keep the books in shape by mending and repairing any that are damaged. The Office Assistants do a huge amount of work in the main school office where the rec- ords are kept. In addition they collect all the absentee cards and distribute the lists to the teachers. They are on call at all times to deliver and sort mail, run errands for the teachers, and deliver information that is helpful to all students.
