60 Named To ‘Who’s Who’ At Grambling State ‘Sixty Gramblinites were included in the 1985-86 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students In American Colleges And Universities.” Inductees joined an elite group of students chosen from — more than 1,400 institutions of higher learning in all 50 . ‘states, — ‘the District of Columbia and several foreign nations. 80 Academic Merit Scholars Eighty Gramblinites were named as recipients of academic merit scholarships during 1985-86. Recipients must meet the following criteria: (1) minimum grade point average of “‘B,”’ (2) an acceptable ACT or SAT score, (3) be a Louisiana resident, (4) possess physical ability and mental stability necessary to attain college goals, (5) furnish a statement of ability and character directly from high school counselors, teachers and principals.
