If and when we encounter such a person, we cannot feel her effect, we do not appreciate her efforts, until we have had the years of experience necessary to evaluate in retrospect all that has made an impression upon us. ln our school there is one who has left an indelible imprint upon us by her careful help and guidanceg there is one who regards the training and education of youth as Work requiring an artist's skill and a scien- tist's precision. She has taken her work seriously, has worked her art well, and has gloried in the demands which that art has made upon her.
