Mark Thompson-tail back, defensive line- Andy Amor-Slot back H059 guard backer. r.,- I-7O Conference Co-Champs! The 1980 football team enjoyed a very successful season. Winning the conference championship for the fourth straight year was one reason for such success. Highlights of the season were Tom Amor rush- ing for 1,802 yards, leading the state in rushing and setting ,a new school record, and Keith Fenton breaking the school record for most tackles in a season. The six seniors of the 1980 squad ended a very rewarding career. These seniors played on teams that won 23 out of 24 conference games and were 31-6 during their four years of football. The coaching staff is extremely proud of the way our players worked over the season. A lot of time, hard work, and personal sacrifices had to be given to achieve success. The 1980 football team should be very proud of their accomplishment. I know the community, school, and coaching staff are very proud!
