Going Gut of Business -14 1 1 D Don't be bashful, Mrs. Doty!! 22 Mrs. Doty prac- tices her typing skills. 32 Taking her turn at the C.P.R. class is none other than Mrs. Doty, 41 I'm just going about my busi- ness!! After giving almost twenty years of unself- ish service to the students of Grain Valley, Mrs. Erma Doty ended her successful teach- ing career at the close of the school year. Mrs. Doty has been the business education teacher most of the years she has taught here. During this time, she has sponsored the yearbook and newspaper, has been junior and senior class sponsors, and has sponsored the pep club and cheerleading squads, beside teaching business classes. Before coming to Grain Valley in 1963, Mrs. Doty attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, where she at- tained her minor in math and bachelor's de- gree in business. Grain Valley would like to commend you, Mrs. Doty, for your dedication, friendship, and sincere teaching that has helped us to better our lives and our abilities. MRS. DOTYI 133
