I: CD no Girls and Boys State Girl: Attending Missouri Boy's State was a memorable experience and one that I treasure. It was a lot of hard work, but the final outcome was well worth the effort. Missouri Boy's State is a program whose purpose is to edu- cate young men about governmental processes through actual experience. 960 boys come together and form an entire state government, beginning at the city level. There are demonstra- tions, athletic programs, and assemblies where high state offi- cials speak. In addition, we were required to take a class con- cerning a certain area of the government. In summary, I would have to say that it was one of the most Outstanding learning experiences I have encountered, and I want to express my deep appreciation for those who were re- sponsible for sending me. Since the number of boys that can attend is limited, I challenge the next Boy's State delegates to make good use of this honor. Sincerely, Doug Fry Boy's State Representative 1980 Session D. 0 II' cn Q9 U o s: CQ l'l'l 2. 0 C' cn D9 U o s: oo l'l'1 5. O E' cn D9 SENIORS! 125
