Allen The National Honor Society attempts to express the ideals of character, leadership, service, and scholarship. Members are selected according to these ideals by a board of faculty members. A highlight of each school year is the induction of new members in an impressive ceremony given in as- sembly. One responsibility of the National Honor Society is the White Christmas Program. Bringing happiness to families during the Christmas season is a rewarding experience never forgotten. There is always the Miss G. H. S. Pageant which is work and play for everyone. With high ambitions and goals, the members of the National Honor Society keep the torch burning brightly. Advisor Mr. Bill Stockard
