Sophisticate, Senrors The Senior Class chose for its class officers this year: President, Douglas Bowers; Vice-President, Mike Kernodle; Secretary, Sandy Burke; and Treasurer, Carlie Satterfield. Dear Diary, The familiar words Graham High School . . . greeted us as we approached the school returning for our final year at G.H.S. Althoughwe were small in number, we were great in the spirit of comradeship that had been developing through the past three years. Butit was not until we marched down the aisle to assembly for the first time that we realized that now WE were Seniors at Graham High. For ten days during September, each of us became occasional guests at home and entered the world of business by selling World's Finest Chocolate, Football season came next, and as we watched the bon fire glowing, we knew that this would be the last pep-rally and the last game that we would enjoy as high school students. Christmas at Graham arrived, bringing with it the traditional heartwarming festivities--the Christmas Dance, the Glee Club program--and the thought of exams. For some of us, these exams were the last we would take at G.H.S., and even through this joyous thou ght there was a note of sadness. After mid-term was over, time literally flew, and before we knew it, April and May had come with our Jr.-Sr. Prom and the long-awaited trip to Washington. We returned, feeling tired but marvelously happy. We felt a bit more mature and independent as we passed still another milestone in our lives. Now, it's all over but the big moment--our graduation. As we share this memorable experience, we shall all vow that these years at Graham High School will never be forgotten.
