Buck Published by The Wag Staff Of Graham High School Graham, North Carolina ravordl As t he seasons come and go, so memories are made. Each brings with it events which commemorate our life at Graham High School. Withfall comes the excitement of the beginning of school, peprallies, football games, and highlights of the homecoming spectacular. Winter is enlightened by basketball games, Thanksgiving, Christmas holidays, and then our halfway mark, first semester exams. The blossoms of spring bring along our fond traditions such as, Seniors visiting Washington, the colossus Junior -Senior Prom and thoughts in mind of the seniors' last years at dear ole'' G. H. S. with respective careers lying ahead of them. At last the air is filled with the boom of pomp and ''circumstance and the final march down the aisles of close association with Mr. Bryan, faculty, and fellow classmates. Thus, another year has passed, but it shall remain embedded in our hearts for years to come with many glorious thoughts of those who were a part of ''our G. H. S. We, the class of 1961, in re- cognition of her undying energy and helping hand, wish to honor Miss Gena Church with this, our WAG. MRS. ANN K. WALKER TEACHER, HELPER, AND FRIEND Her expressions, willing- ness, and charm made friendly counsel, great interest in our work, both in and out of the classroom. Her patience and understanding of our humanistic traits and individual circum- stances have been most helpful over and beyond the callof duty as a teacher. She has done her part in guiding us toward our future life, proving that love, kindness, honesty, and truth are the main basis for each individual's goal in life. We, the class of 1961, want to leave a lasting expression of our love and gratitude. To that end, we dedicate this, our WAG, to one we can never forget, Mrs. Ann K. Walker. a ae | : 5 Mr. N. G.
