December Holidays Keep Students Busy As the Christmas holidays draw near, the students' days were consumed by parties, plays, and contests. The Student Council sponsored the annual Christmas door contest. The homerooms of Mr. Dyer, Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. McCracken, and Mrs. Hearne won in the four categories. The juniors and seniors had a special treat for Christmas when they received their senior rings and senior keys. a. Mrs. Arnold passes out senior keys to seniors Pam Harrell and Robert Green. b. The clever category was added especially for Mr. Dyer's homeroom's Christmas door. C. STEER and STAMPEDE staff members have a party to celebrate Christmas and the completion of their first deadline. d. Student Council members dress up as children's characters for their performance at the elementary schools. e. LuAnne Ainsworth, Jerry Baker, Charles Hall, Jon Miller, and Chris Rogers trim the tree in the foyer to get in to the Christmas spirit. f. Kenny Whittenburg finds that Mr. Barringer's algebra exam isn't exactly a piece of cake. f. Scarlett Ledbetter, Tim Lanier and Ginger Rogers stretch and relax after finishing the SAT. g.
