September Activities Get Underway With September came many activities. The classes were busy electing officers, having pictures made, signing annuals, and preparing for the first football game. This year there was a change in the seniors' pictures as they voted to have theirs made in tuxedos and drapes. a. Julie Ward takes advantage of the hour off from school for an annual signing party. b. The hot weather calls for a water break between timed writings in Miss Maxwell's typing class. c. With a cautious hold on her drape, Lauri Waggoner waits for Mr. Lasater to say Smile pretty. d. Senior boys anxiously wait to hear which one of them will be senior class president, After a heated race .lon Miller won. e. Ole Blue is revealed as spirit reaches its maximum during the first pep rally. f. Coach Cain accepts the victory flag for the Steers. g. Supporting the Steers, Laura Hinson, Becky McFall, Sandra Mitchell and Kay Odom paint windows for the second home game against Breckenridge. h. Just before Charles Casey is overtaken by the Tigers, he gets rid of the ball by pitching it to Chad Hammond. nb. Cl
