Fourth-Fifth Periods Nothing is more confusing to a new student than our fourth and fifth periods. Part of the student body eats lunch while the other half attends classes. The problem is - which half are you in? Fourth period finds the art students drawing a portrait, mak- ing paper tole, creating a picture of string, or painting shingles. GHS students, famous for being brilliant scientists, study the elastic limits of springs in physics and learn (and never forget) the parts of a frog in biology. Art I Physics Biology 20

Homemaking II Studyhall Bookkeeping For bachelors like Coach Keyes the best place to get a home- cooked meal is Homemaking II. With a good excuse like that, he may never get married. All studyhall classes meet upstairs but the fifth period studyhall which has the distinction of meeting in the library. Some students study while others spend their time looking for a good book to check out. Bookkeeping students learn the importance of balancing the check- book. It surely takes a lot of work if those numbers don't balance. 21
