FOOD FOR THOUGHT 1 — School dietician, Polly Lampert, prepares next month’s menu. 2 — Betty Buckles gathers goodies for trick-or-treaters. 3 — Virgie Roberts arranges the orange juice for the next lunch. 4 — JoeAnn Tolbert places a pot of vegetables on the stove. 5 — To find a dessert for the students, Carol Jackson searches the freezer. 6 — While at her daily post, Jean Majcina waits for the students to come through the line. 7 — A smiling Bess Simpson peeps through the window as she clears the trays. 1 — Virginia Farrar, teacher at GHS for 20 years, Elise Cooper, teacher at GHS for 26 years, and Jane Eades, teacher at GHS for 34 1 2 years, retired at the end of the 1987-88 school year. 2 — Heading toward the team room before a foot- ball game is Coach Carlock. 3 — Mr. Russell demonstrates the proper technique for ice skating while on bus duty. 4 — Monkeying around in one of the old biology labs is Ms. Whaley and friend. 5 — Contemplat- ing some mischief with his fish bait is Mr. Hedrick. 6 — Amazed by a con- trary computer, Mr. Kinser and Mr. Rohrer look dumb-founded. 7 — Mrs. Belcher finds the perfect reme- dy for a long day’s work.
