THE TORCH OF SUCCESS IS PASSED 1 — Our first appointee to West Point in eleven years, Shannon Hinkle gives his salutatory ad- dress. 2 — Patricia Bowman placed second in the state for her exceptional writing ability. 3 — Jeff Metcalfe graciously accepts the title of SCA President from former SCA President Tim Riffe. 4 — Members of the 1988 graduating class sing to the upcoming seniors during the candlelight ceremony. 5 — Responding to the graduates’ song with a song of their own is the class of 1989. 6 — Top ten scholars of the class of 1988 are Pinky Bhagat, Lori Trigg, Greg Money, David Kovach, Melissa Rieger, Chris Ray, Kristi Pochick, Sid Nash, Shannon Hinkle, and Tim Riffe.
