Why did it have to be so brief? A delicate beauty, bold and rare, charming, intelligent, kindly, sweet; During the night her health diminished Till at long last her life was finished. Now she is the angel in Heaven; She was while still living. Probably there, too, she is still giving. May she rest in Glory, in peace; Her soul will pass through Heaven’s door; We shall remember you — evermore. — from “An Asset to Mankind” and “Tribute to Grace Kelly,” Poems written by Donna Burchette DONNA BURCHETTE October 25, 1968 October 20, 1984 52 Juniors ‘= y — ‘ see 4 : eo Se eee eae “t 3 CLASS OF ’87 Sophomore Class Officers are: Amy Blankenship, President; Hope Whaley, Vice President; Kelly Matney, Secretary; and Jimmy Cox, Treasurer.
