Cheryl Welch was crowned Homecoming Queen of 1979. ee ON ag Kathy Reed, President of NHS, was crown bearer, and Jane Miller was last years Homecoming Queen. Oe oe As the announcer read out the winner, the shout of victory could be heard from Cheryl Welch. The week’s activities were then brought to an end as Cheryl waved her thanks to the applauding crowd and departed to the stands with a smile to watch the rest of the football game.
