Dedication We, the Annual Staff, are very happy to dedicate the 1962 GRAHAM to Mrs. Thelma Compton, our versatile librarian. She is well known to every student, as library work is a must at Graham. Her attractive and original bulletin boards and the pleasant air of informality make the library a delightful place to study. Two of Mrs. Compton ' s hobbies are riding horseback and writing poetry.

i ! i and Things Graham keeps up with new trends and here we see a class of programmed algebra. the difference! It wasn ' t even their lunch hour. Paula Hill and Margie Black were selected to attend Girls ' State at Radford College in the summer of ' 61. In the auditorium is a picture familiar to all students. For years S. N. Huffard served on the School Board and presented the Huffard medal to the highest honor student. His son continues this in his memory. Mr. Dalton says this was a posed pictured. He really doesn ' t fish through the ice or on school time.
