Major: General Prep I 2 Prophecy Looking ahead some fifteen years, let us see what the crystal ball holds for these members of the class of Fifty-Eight : WILLIAM ARMSTRONG will be elected Ohio's No. l Housewife. IAMES LEE BALLARD will be one of the cast of Steve Allen's Man On the Street program. CHARLENE BOWEN will be the nation's greatest drag-racing instructor. CAROL and ROBERT BRICKER will tour the world as internationally known trapeze performers. DANNY GENTIS will be elected by the women of the world as having the most ravish- ing personality on earth. EILEEN FINNERTY will have her hands full with little Loud-uns. GLEN EARICK will own a chain of grocery stores called Eats From Ear1ck's. KEITH KESLER will be named Customer of the Decade by the Unemployment Bureau. NEVIN EDWARD LANICH will be a girls physical education teacher. NEIL LANTZ will be acclaimed as World's Champion Story Teller. SARAH LASH will be president of a firm known as Sarah's Knee-Sox, Unincorporated. HARLEENE LEASURE will be head button-hole counter in a button-hole factory. PHIL LOUDEN, who likes bookkeeping, will find that it will be all he can do to keep account of all the little Loud-uns. DAVID MEYER will be indispensable to Wittenberg College. He will be head janitor. HUGH KITE will still be unpredictable. RUBY ROUSH will be a mathematical housewife, and will raise children in large num- bers. RONNIE SHY will be a prospector, but the only gold he will find will be that in his teeth. RICHARD SMITH will be a milkman, with P bottle of milk in one hand and a customer in the other. DOLLY STICKLEY will be a chorus girl instead of being in girls' chorus. MARY ALICE TAYLOR will be demoted to the candy counter of Murphy's Five-and Ten store instead of working in the office. ELEANOR CURRENT will be the Wor1d's Greatest Ballet Dancer. KATHLEENE BOWEN will be lady judo expert. WILLIAM HEATON will inherit an insurance business from his father-in-law. PAUL HOFFMAN will be coaching a midget basketball team. IUDY VULGAMORE will be a professional wrestler--but not in the ring--she will wrestle Russell. All we can say about RONALD MUMPER is that he will get Knicked. JUDY BORST and EASY ED SMITH will be professional square dance callers. I think everyone will agree that with aspects such as we have depicted here, the future looks bright for the class of Fifty-Eight. Sterling Cancelled The Falcon Varsity Squad began Graham's basketball history with a season of twelve wins and only five losses. Although they started the season with two defeats, Graham failed to hold a mid-season seven-game winning streak and an end with two victories. An undefeated league record won the Champaign County League trophy for the Falcons, and the 'championship of the Christmas Tournament added another to the growing collection. Fal 82 1957 added a new sport to the familiar rostor of old ones. Football began, and with it, the excitement of watching the Falcons battle o'n the gridiron. A six-game schedule gave Graham a record of no wins and six losses, but a look at the scores will immediately show the improvement made by the team. Seven games were originally schedul- ed but bad weather cancelled the Falcons' hopes of defeating Mt. Sterling in the homecoming game. X cons - 5 ffdamz' Mr 'r .Q , Q f , XZ 9 . 1-4' -.
