Hoffman The '74-'75 Student Council, ably led by Siobhan McManus as president and Marcy Hoffman as Vice-president, began the year by revising the governing body's by-laws. Along with this major task, the council organized all-school func- tions such as the fall barbecue and teacher-slave day. All the members of the PBASC hope that their work this year will enable future groups to have a stronger voice in the affairs of the school. 76

IQURNALISM Katgiwlswqmce The national developments-political and economic-of the last year stimulated wide interest in journalism. Students found much for discussion in the Watergate and recession issues. Perhaps more important, how- ever, was the focus given by newspapers themselves on the ethics of reporting events. Other than newspaper theory, journalism students tried their hand at producing a school paper, the Coup- de-grace.
