Classes needed for graduation points had to be made up during the hot months of summer. For many, the new school year began before the old one grew old. Football practice began in August and all the long hours seemed to pay off. A lot of pain and effort took our team to new horizons. The Bearcats captured the “Big-Ten”, the first time since 1956 and became one of the Top four in the State Finals. The Golf team made our spirits soar, when they placed 10th in the State Finals.
