Big 10 Champs — Regional Champs Awesome is the bst word to describe the 1975-76 Bearcats. Their power was beyond imagination. Coach Butch Has-well feels their main strength was the fact that they believed in each other. This main strength was backed up with great team coordination, poise, defense, rebounding, hustle, and a fantastic shooting ability. The mighty Bearcats were followed faithfully to every game by their numerous fans. The unbelievable aspect of the Bearcats’ season was the way the whole town supported their efforts. 6
