Foreword: The years you spend in high school mean many things to many people: To a senior the last year is the climax of four of the most important and rewarding years of his or her life. To the student, a year consist of memories, dances and study. To the faculty the year is composed of lesson plans, faculty meetings and sponsoring of organizations. To the athlete and his coaches the year is seen as one in which a winning season is sought, To the organizations the year is hustle, planning, parties and friendships never to be forgotten. To the editor and his staff, an adventure always has an end. . . and this is the end of an adventure never to be forgotten. Editor s Note . . . One could write a book about his experience while working with this yearbook. At different times during the year it looked very doubtful that we would make it; everything would be going along fine until an appointment was missed or someone would lock the door to the yearbook room and lose the key. Often it seemed as if we could not possibly meet the deadlines, but at the last minute everybody would work together until the crisis was passed successfully. Although, while working together we had the usual amount of ups and downs, we had equal number of laughs and good times. The many evening sessions that we worked brought a wonder- ful crew to the Re-Echo Office ... a group that I will not forget, and one that even made work enjoyable. It is not possible to mention all of their names, but I would like to thank the staff members for all their hard work. This page would not be complete without me saying something about our advisor, Mrs. Mar- gery Williams. Her confident words and threats always boosted the morale of a fretting editor.” Not only did she advise on the publication, but she also worked many hours at proofreading and copy-writing. She would meet with us at any time or place. I am very grateful for the help which she gave during the year. Now, after all the late hours, the disappointing plans and the hundred and fifty-two pages of this book are finished, I want to look ahead and say Good luck” to next year’s staff. May they enjoy working on the 1974 book as much as we have enjoyed working on this, the 1973 Re-Echo. Jerry Latta EDITOR B. Gough D. Harman C. Weaver S. Donham E. Hcfferin B. Hinkins S. Barton D.
