DIANE GALLAHER Innocent looks, a twinkling eye, and a cooperative manner characterize Diane Gallaher, who stands third in her class. She is an excellent student with a sparkling personality; we can all say, she's dependable, and she's fun. SHIRLEY HENDERSON Let's have a cheer for our next scholar. A cheerleader + a scholar - Shirley Henderson, a well-rounded student. MARIE SHACKELFORD ALAN MOATS The chief activity of our fifth honor student, Marie Shackelford, has been the Keyette Club, in which she has proven herself a valuable asset. A wide, slow grin, a twinkling eye, a quick mind — put then all together and you'll have Alan Moats, 19 honor student number six. Until he was sidelined by a knee injury, Alan also quarterbacked the Bearcats. He found time for many activities.

KATHY BOLINER Quiet, polite, and considerate of others are the adjectives which best describe our seventh honor student, Kathy Boliner. She will be sadly missed at G.H.S. JAMES RENEAU Jim has worked long and hard throughout his four years at G.H.S. to rank ninth in the class of '70. He presently holds the responsible position of lifeguard at the Tygart Lake State Park. BRUCE MILLER Eighth on our honors list is Bruce Miller. Despite his shy and easy-going personality, Bruce takes an especially active part in all his social studies classes. HOWARD STANSBERRY Our tenth honor student is Howard Stansberry. In addition to his widely acclaimed intellectual abilities, Howard has proven himself a valuable asset to the G.H.S. track team.
