The one quality a really good student must possess is curiosity, and Doug Moats has curiosity in abundance. His standing in liis class (eighth) proves this. It is expected that Doug's college years will be as productive as his four years at G. H. S. Standing ninth in his class is Roger Harvey. Roger is a combination of two rare qualities: practicality and a keen sense of humor. The result is a pleasant well-rounded individual of whom G. H. S. can be proud. Margaret (Peggy) Carr placed tenth in her class. Peggy's cheer fulness and cooperative ness have endeared her to students and teachers alike. Ranking eleventh in the class of '66 is Nancy Judy. Nancy is the one girl with two first names. A quick smile, a good student, and a friend is perhaps the best way to describe Nancy. She likes people and they like her. High scholastic achievement, athletic and artistic ability', vice-president of the student body, a sparkling sense of humor and a smile to match — Dave Dalton, who is twelfth in his class, possesses all of these qualities. We can expect Dave's future to be as bright as his smile.

Marlene Shaw, Secretary of the Year at Grafton High School, ranked third in this year's graduating class. Her pleasant personality and intellectual enthusiasm combine to make her an outstanding student in every respect. An outstanding athlete in his four years at G. H. S. , Bob Willis, who ranks fourth will long be remembered. Bob's sense of humor makes him well liked by most of his classmates. David Shaver ranks fifth with this fine class. His higher education is going to be on the rocks --geology, that is. David has been quite active in school affairs. Carol Johnson is a quiet, conscientious person who stands sixth in her class in scholastic achievement. She has many outstanding characteristics. She is that rare person to whom one may give a task with the assurance that it will be done well. Nancy Haislip, who ranks seventh, is familiar to many as one of the G. H. S. cheerleaders. She has shown a willingness to assume responsibility as well as the capability to do a good job when a task is assigned to her. 14

Ranking twelfth in the class of '66 is Linda Stevens, who has quietly made her presence felt in the many activities of G. H. S. She shares this twelfth spot with enthusiasm. Fourteenth is Ann Shafferman's rank. Ann is known for her honesty which is prevalent in all of her school work. She is a very capable student and always fulfills her responsibilities. The very active drum-majorette of the class of 1966 is Pam Williams who ranks fifteenth. Pam's years in high school show much time given to her studies as well as the many extracurricular activities she participated in. Susan White ranks sixteenth in the class of 1966. She will be remembered as one of our peppy cheerleaders. Her gracious manner and sparkling personality make her a friend to all. Susan was elected to the National Honor Society in her junior year. A girl of varied interests, intelligent, and a lover of good conversation is Sandy Mayfield, who ranks seventeenth in her class. Sandy will tackle any job with enthusiasm and still find time to study. 16
