STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council is the governing body of our secondary schools. The primary purpose is to teach the students good citizenship. This is done by providing activities in which each inidividual receives the power of self-discipline within themselves. Another function of the student council is to promote school spirit and good sportsmanship. This is done by offering the class tournaments, an activity in which each student participates. The Student Council is made up of a president, which is elected by the student body the preceeding year, and a representative from each home room. Being a member of this worthy organization is truly a great honor. It has rules and regulations that must be followed in order to provide the basis for a good school government. By keeping in step with the student council we will all benefit in education and receiving training in good citizenship.
