LYNN FAULKNER Principal B. S. , E. E. , A. M. This is Mr. Faulkner's third year as our Principal of Grafton High School. He has been doing a remarkable job and he is well liked by all the students. Mr. Faulkner received his degrees from W. Va. University and he also attended Cornell and Harvard Universities. With our long lunch line it wouldn't be the same without seeing Mr. Faulkner’s smiling face at the head of the line. EDWARD WHITESCARVER Assistant Principal Mr. Whitescarver, who is our efficient assistant principal, is liked by everyone and has a friendly smile for all. He is always found scurrying around in the halls and regrets there are but twenty-four hours in a day. He says he likes all foods, especially roast beef. Courtesy, honesty, and industry are the characteristics Mr. Whitescarver looks for in a student. He dazzles the students with his vocabulary of large words. We hope he will continue to be our assistant principal for years to come. 9

PAUL C. BARTLETT Superintendent The superintendent of Taylor County Schools is Paul Bartlett who has held this office for five years. Mr. Bartlett received his A. B. degree from Fairmont State College and his M. A. degree from West Virginia University. He is affiliated with the Methodist Church and is a member of the local Lions Club, a Mason and is a member of the West Virginia Education Association, National Education Association and American Association of School Administrators. RONALD L. KNOTTS Assistant Superintendent The assistant superintendent of Taylor County Schools, Ronald L. Knotts, has held his post since March of 1949, and has taught in this county since 1929. He attended W. Va. University and there he received his A. B. degree in 1933 and a Master’s in 1939. He is a Lay Leader of the Andrews St. Paul's Methodist Church.
