foreword As we continue our quest for knowledge and wisdom along the pathway to success, we are certain to encounter many difficulties and unpleasant situations and may at times forget the many delightful experiences of our school days. It is the hope of the staff of the I960 Re-Echo, that this issue of our school annual may serve as a constant reminder of delightful and memorable days spent together at G.H.S. Where is the heart that doth not keep, within its inmost care, Some fond remembrance hidden deep, of days that are no more? Howarth 3

dedication A.V. YOHO A.B. A.M. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line.’ This, almost every student agrees, is the motto of one of Grafton High School's quietest, but most effective teachers, Mr. A. V. Yoho. Mr. Yoho is a graduate of Fairmont State College and also of West Virginia University and has both A.B. and A.M. degrees. He has taught mathematics at Grafton High School for more than thirty years. During the years he has been here, he has been known for his Friday tests. Mr. Yoho is very versatile. He raises beautiful flowers, enjoys camping, carpentry, and painting. He has a large flower garden in which he may be seen working almost any pretty day. He has constructed a two-stall garage and is often seen doing various kinds of work around his home. Mr. Yoho has also proved himself untiringly dedicated to Grafton High School during the years he has taught here. Scores of students, who have gone to college, feel that they were fortunate to have had the opportunity of having Mr. Yoho for their teacher of mathematics. We, the senior class of I960, wish to show our sincere respect and appreciation by dedicating this I960 Re-Echo to Mr. A. V. Yoho. We extend to him our sincere best wishes and hope he will have many more years of pleasant and successful teaching in Grafton High School. 5
