FEES 6 Spirit The Class of 1988 One thing Grafton High takes the most pride in is our spirit. That never-ending desire to show each other how much we appreciate their efforts and to let our op- ponents know how badly they are about to be beaten. lt is not unusual to go to a sporting event and see Grafton posters, Indian war paint upon faces or the voices of the fans chanting an ever- popular cheer for their team. Each class seems to have its own cheering section, the largest being the senior section, of course. For four years, we have banded together to let other schools know that we are the best, if not on record, in en- thusiasm. As we climb into the bleachers all differences are put aside, we are united in a common bond. Not many schools can claim the loyalty ours has enioyed. Our ef- forts to promote our school or class as the best has been evident in our being a- warded the sportsmanship award and winning first place in the pep-rallies since our freshman year, coming in second only once to the Class of '89. Our dedication can be measured in the miles so many hockey fans have traveled to see the ln- dians take the ice or in the gallons of water that have rained on hard core football fans lremember Millbury?l. As we leave Graf- ton High not only will we leave an exam- ple for others to follow, but we will take with us a great sense of pride to share with others in our futures.
