owl W KB! ia N f JL? How Long? Some of us have just been here too long. l won- der what it's like to be twenty years old and a freshman in a high school? There are no twenty-year- old students in Grafton, but there are some somewhere. Some of us have definitely been here too long! You know you've been at G.H.S. too long when When you stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance every time someone comes over the speaker. Iulie Cox '89 When you're older than your teachers. 2 Must Come Down How would you like to feel the excitement of being in a three-ring circus? Then learn to iuggle. First, take two obiects ltennis balls, bean bags, etc.l. Toss the obiect in your right hand up in the air toward your left hand, then toss the obiect in your left hand toward your right hand but lower and before the first object reaches the tossed obiect. Focus your eyes at the peak of the higher tossed obiect. Practice this first movement until you can complete 20 to 30 rep- etitions with ease. To iuggle three objects, hold two in your right hand and the third in your left. Starting with the right hand, toss in the air about three feet the obiect which is touching the top of your thumb. Next, toss the object in the left hand toward the right, lower than the first obiect. Toss the re- maining obiect. Remember, focus your eyes at the peak. Although you may never be the center of at- traction at Ringling Brothers, you will experi- ence a sense of accomplishment after master- ing the art of iuggling, lohn Dunne Opening What Goes Up Cars are an important aspect of the High School experience and range from sporty and expensive to cheap and junky. Some people even like their iunk cars and wouldn't trade , them for anything. But, hey, if it runs and gets you where you're going, then who '5 needs a laguar Xl I 2, Ferrari Testarossa, or a Lamb- orghini? Here are some more creative answers .. .
