There is a lot of planning and stress involved in preparing for these weddings. First of all, students must have money and lots of it. They also need flowers, tuxes, gowns, presents for the wedding party, and a place for the reception. It is also important to have good food, a good band, and a photo- grapher. Our mock weddings were as close to the real thing as we could get them. We had three separate weddings, one for each class. The first class's wedding party was made up of Darlene Gagnon, the bride, Leah Yaylaian, her made ofhonor, and Tracy O'Brien, her bridesmaid. ltalsoincluded Craig Alex, the groom, David Laino, the best man, and lim loncas, the usher, Parents of the groom, Bill Drum and Lisa Hauk enter the reception, l lll -L t s.tc ' Bride Darlene Gagnon and groom Craig Alex enioy a special moment. The second wedding party was made up of Becky Cournoyer, the brideg lulie Greenlaw, the maid of honorg Debbie Tulloch, Tara Regan and Stacy Williams, Brides- maids. It also included Mike Speroni, the groomg Scott Booth, and best mang Scott Bull and Steve Pashoian, ushers. Much planning and preparation went into all three weddings. Students invited speakers and went on field trips to learn more about weddings and setting up their first home. lan, from Ian's Bridals, spoke to all three classes and provided the wedding gowns free of charge. For this wedding, Robert L's donated the tuxes, Members of each class spent morning decorating the auditorium. There were wooden arches with crepe paper flowers, streamers, and flowers down the side of the aisles. Each wedding was a tremendous success which ended with a reception enjoyed by all. H. It also included Iohn Malvey, the groom, Eric Bergenholtz, best man, Mike Swift and Randy Iendrzeiewski, ushers. For weeks students went over the responsibilities in- volved and prepared decorations, and made arrange- ments for tuxes, gowns, food and flowers. The tuxes for the wedding were provided by Mr. Tux of Shrewsbury, free of charge. In class students went over vows and time sched- ules to make sure that everything would run smoothly. All contributed their time and effort to make the wedding successful. All decisions were made in class by the students. These weddings were a lot of fun for all students in- volved, but they were also a great deal of hard work. February 1, 1969 - Ma 19, 1986 As time goes on our memories of you somehow become faded. Not because we have forgotten you, but because our lives just aren't used to your not being here. As we search into the past we recall all the memories, both good and bad, that we once shared. And we wish that those weren't just memories, but realities, that you were still by our sides. I can still re- member how we used to be in our younger years from kindergarten to high school. How we both held each other and wished that lb these times would never, ever end. And then we would laugh because somehow we knew that as we grew up things would change. Remember our childhood dreams, to become dancers, firemen, and members of the military? And how we always kept each other reaching for the stars to achieve our goals? As we grew up we matured and drifted apart. Not because we no longer cared for each other, but because we were growing and living is many different life styles. Looking back we recall all of the pre- cious times that we shared. Little Indians Although the l.V. football team had a disappointing season, coach Steve Woinar, kept us in good spirits throughout the season and taught us many new things. Other members were Kathi Reed, Kara Nichols, Nina Taurus, Kim Ayres, Amy Benson, Cheryl O'Toole and Pam Fields. In addition to cheering on the boys during the regular season and Clark Tournaments, the squad also cheered at tournaments and at the Worcester Centrum. Six squads across Massachussetts were chosen for the Harlem Globetrotters and Grafton was one of them. Many hours of practice and hard work went into composing the cheer. The girls also competed in the David Prouty tournament. As with the past Superbowls, this year was probably the most ex- citing, Grafton was behind for three quarters losing 9-0 to a strong Keefe Tech, team. In the last part ofthe third quarter the team kicked a field goal and was then behind by 6. With some dazzling defense and startling offense the team scored a touchdown and the extra point to go up to the score of IO-9. In the last part of the fourth quarter Grafton scored once again for the final points and won I6-9. Con- gratulations to the team and good luck to the seniors.
