During the past four years we, the class of 1958, with the help of the faculty have been laying this foundation. September 1954- We gathered at Grafton Junior-Senior Memorial High School to begin our work. At the traditional Freshman Reception, which was held in the aud- itorium, we were greeted by the Seniors, and we met our big brothers and sisters, after which we all felt welcome. We held a Sock Hop with Mel Miller as Disc-Jockey. This turned out to be very successful, and it was loads of fun. Towards the end of the year the class trip became a popular sub- ject. We decided on Nantasket Beach. Mr. Ahlin, Mr. Wheeler, and Mr. Jackson were chaperones on this trip. October 1954- April 15, 1955- June 11, 1955- June 15, 1955- We successfully completed our Freshman year and were already looking forward to being Sophomores.
