We shall miss him very much. 23 Senior Superlatives u  . Or 0 Freshman Year OFFICERS President GAIL BOUSQUET Vice-President JOHN WHEELDEN Secretary LINDA DESPRES Treasurer AILENE MATUSZEK A house is only as strong as the foundation upon which it is built. During the past four years we, the class of 1958, with the help of the faculty have been laying this foundation. September 1954- We gathered at Grafton Junior-Senior Memorial High School to begin our work. At the traditional Freshman Reception, which was held in the aud- itorium, we were greeted by the Seniors, and we met our big brothers and sisters, after which we all felt welcome. We held a Sock Hop with Mel Miller as Disc-Jockey. This turned out to be very successful, and it was loads of fun. Towards the end of the year the class trip became a popular sub- ject. We decided on Nantasket Beach. Mr. Ahlin, Mr. Wheeler, and Mr. Jackson were chaperones on this trip. October 1954- April 15, 1955- June 11, 1955- June 15, 1955- We successfully completed our Freshman year and were already looking forward to being Sophomores. Sophomore Year President ALLEN PETERSON Vice-President JOHN WHEELDEN Secretary JUDY HENTZ Treasurer CONNIE FLYNN September 1955- May 11, 1956- June 11, 1956- We were now beginning our Sophomore Year with the hope of completing it as successfully as our Freshman Year. The first undertaking of our Sophomore year was the Sophomore Hop, which was called Star Dust. Music for this dance was pro- vided by Kenny Durant ' s Orchestra. We again turned our thoughts to the annual class trip, and again we decided on Nantasket Beach, since we had enjoyed ourselves so much our Freshman Year. Junior Year President JOHN FLEMING Vice-President JOHN WHEELDEN Secretary LINDA OHMAN Treasurer CONNIE FLYNN September 1956- October 19, 1956- With the passing of summer we were anxiously looking forward to beginning the tasks of the Junior year. We put on two one- act comedies, under the supervision of the chairman, Kay- Richardson.
