Jusf Then, our new aviaTion execufive, Don Nichols, Took his place aT The head Table. He was accompanied by his privafe secrefary, YveTTe Bardier. Following Don was Red Anderson, flighT officer aT WorcesTer Municipal AirporT. Rushing in aT The IasT minufe was Don HoTsTra, MasTer of Ceremonies, and his wife, The former Phyllis ChrisTie. The opening number was played on Twin pianos by Marilyn Dumas and Joan Cunning- ham. Glancing aT my program, I noficed a huge adverfisemenf for Mar- lene Bishop's Dance STudio. Guy fold me fhaf Gary Maynard had a nafionally famous orches- fra. While on four fhroughouf fhe counfry fhey saw some of our class- mafes. In Connecficuf, Dof Adams was a diefifian for an exclusive hofel. wifh Joyce Sanderson as her assisfanf. The owner of fhe hofel was none ofher fhan Tom Peavey, who had a number of ofher resorfs in differenf secfions of fhe counfry. Peggy fold me fhaf Sonia Kilik was raising French poodles in Maine. Leaving Peggy. I enfered fhe gym. and spied Theresa Boufieffe looking over fhe building, foo. Theresa was now head nurse af Memorial Hospifal wifh Joyce Bailey, Barbara Whiffen, Janice Sweef and Mary Kelly as fellow nurses. While we were falking, Fred Kuras, now a professional baskefball player, came in. Suddenly someone 'rapped my shoulder and I furned around fo see Barbara Fifzpafrick and Nancy Akerson. Barb said she was a Iaborafory fechnician and Nancy, a secre- fary, for one of The publishers of a magazine. Nancy fold me fhaf Elinor Davenporf, Claire LeBoeuf, and Mariorie Emerson had combined fheir falenfs as wrifers for fhis magazine. The owner was none ofher fhan Joan Crofeau. Leaving fhe gym, I mef oufside Dolores Snow and Minola Con- rad, who were planning fo be married soon. Minola fold me fhaf June Card had gained much fame as a horsewoman.
