S’eni i, Ctate Wi£C We, the Seniors of the Class of 1953, of the City of Grafton, County of Worth, State of Iowa, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish, and' declare this to be our Last Will and Testament to the under classmen of the Grafton High School. I, Cordelia Seegers, will my good times and giggles that I had with Rosie to Janice Hartwig and my sister Gwenle. My ability to warm the basketball bench to Judy Schmidt. I leave my desk to Shirley, may you make better use of it. My hobby of writing letters to Beverly, I hope she answers them faster then she does now. My license in the boy hunting club to Clo Ann—hope you have good luckll I leave ray ability to act silly parts in plays and also in real life to Kenny. To Marge I leave my big silver neck- lace, hope you don't get laughed at like I did. To Liz I leave my big boots who also has a fashion for them. I leave my favorite chair up at the paint shop to Peggy. To George I leave my ability to sleep in shows. It's alot of fun, believe me 11 I will the rest of any of my good qualities, if any, to anybody that wants them. I, Eugene Wilde, will my basketball suit to my brother Bob. Lets make the first team and keep those training rules as good as I did 11 I will my good grades in all subjects, except typing, to Clo Ann Miller. Typing takes patience and that's something I didn't have in that. Don't let it worry you Cleo. My position playing baritone in the band to any- one having alot of wind. A good instrument to play 11 I will my good biding in 500 on the bus to Ruby Hinsman, my teasing girls to Donald Kruger. My willingness to-help in all activities to Gwendolyn Seegers, and my studying ability in the wee hours of the night to Doris Bartz. My shyness of girls to Gary Kuntz—they aren't that bad Garyll I also will my perfect attendance to Darrel Bublitz--lets make it every day to school Darrelll It's lots of fun. Last but not least my good nature to get along with all teachers to any Freshman, Sophmore, or Junior in High School, deserving of that good quality. I, Doris Wilde, will my seat in the assembly, across from Ruby Hinsman to George Nitcher. My ability of coming out to the frus late to Shirley Kruger. I will all ray good grades -on my re-rort card to my sister, Gladys. To my cousin Gloria Bublitz, I will my drivers licence. Please don't, wear the roads out between here and Manly. My interest in red heads to Doris Bartz, who also has a passion for them. My bashfullness to Donald Krueger and my ability to get along with the teachers to Darrel Bublitz. I, Donald Boeset, will my ability to play pool to Harley Bublitz. My height, I will to Larry Dalluge. My basketball suit to Jerry Buechele. I will my ability to stay in class to Donald Kruger. My place in front of the band—as drum majorette—to who ever wants it and make sure you lead the band to the right placesll My clothes and strapless formals to Clo Ann Miller—who says she needs them worse than I doll My speed and good grades in typing to Maxine Tret tin, my place in band to Marjorie Bartz. All my good times while in my Sen- ior year to Ruby Hinsman. My favorite seat on the bus to Gene Nack, my friendship with Cordelia Seegers to Beverly Bork and who ever is her best friend. My old girl friends from Carpenter to Wayne Rosenberg. My desk across from Bob Wilde to Shirley Krueger. My ability to sneak out of study hall to dress for P.T. to anybody who can get away with it.
