All Homecoming week students worked on floats and made plans for Thursday and Fri- day night. On Thursday prepara tions for the Bar-Be-que, pep rally and coronation were being fininshed for the big evening. It was the beginning of a per- fect Homecoming when Steve and DeeDee were crowned King and Queen. Fridays excitement was building as time for the parade and game approached. The seniors were very happy when they found out their float, the HPirate Poundu won first place. This was the third year in a row for a first place victory for the seniors. The high spirits were broken when the Pirates football team was defeated 8-12 in the Homecoming game by the West Bend Bulldogs. The Home- coming dance was enjoyed by students, faculty and alumni. As this type of competition was new to most, we feel they did very well. l Youre A Good Man, Charlie Brown NCharlie Brownu proved to be a very entertaining night, not only for the audience but also the cast. Eight weeks of rehearsals was a tedious job, but entirely worth it. Throughout the musical, there were many moving moments, but the climax was seen in NSuppertimeN. A second performance was given later so people who missed it the first time could see it. NCharlie Brownn couldn't have been produced if not for the never-ending efforts of the directors John Gilger and Myron Swan. Jeri Voigt did a very outstanding job of setting and keeping the pace of the music. The characters were as follows: Charlie Brown-Ray Blinkmann, Lucy-Esther Hankey, Schroeder-Steve Kulow, Snoopy-Ted Lundgren, Linus-Dan Voigt, and Patty-Shelly Struthers.
