SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE It is with sincere gratitude that I express thanks to the patrons of Grady School for the pleas- ant stay you have afforded me the four years Ihave been your superintendent. You have helped to make our school a better corrununity. To the class of 1960, Iwish to express appreciation for your accomplishments in publishing this volume of The Broncho. I know it contains many treasures which you will cherish very dearly in the years ahead. I trust that these fond memories will reign supreme when your thoughts present retrospective visions of your sojourn at Grady High School. My charge to the undergraduates is: to work diligently in search of truth -for this is the key to the door of success, peace, and satisfactiong to follow the examples of hard workg and to discriminate between heights than those who have gone out before you. I commend the faculty and other school personnel alike for your cooperation, loyalty, and sincere efforts in seeing the jobs well done. There have been no weak links in this chain of individuals. The group of individuals behind the scenes - the members of the Board of Education have served faithfully and unselfishly. For this and their efforts to provide the best education possible for the youth of the community, I wish to pay tribute. In conclusion and admonition to the community in general, I wish to reiterate the words of the Master which I think apply to education as well as to spiritual values: Seek and Ye shall find . . . 5 ,.-V ff liven-5. -. ....
