Growth started as soon as we unpacked the overloaded car and said good- bye to our parents. The growth we experienced at Graceland came from experiences such as being house president, taking sixteen hours of classes and worlcing fifteeng and watching the activities of the small town of Lamoni. The year at Graceland helped us establish our goals and helped us leam to deal with disappointments. Our Graceland lives expanded our views and horizons of the world as we met many intema- tional exchange students. Dealing with the dai- ly activities of classes and eating at the Com- mons helped us to understand our position in society. Religious life on campus warmed our souls with a greater knowledge of God, as we shared with others our feelings and inspira- tions. Living off campus or on taught us how to manage our money. For many this was a new experience. The seed fusj was planted at Gra- celand and continued to germinate as the year passed.
